CONTAINS:
The Collagen has a very particular amino acid composition. The Glycine approximately represents 1/3 of the presented amino acids. It also contains very high amounts of proline and hydroxyproline, as well as being one of the few proteins that contains hydroxylysine.
BENEFITS:
- In the bones it is mixed with calcium crystals and thanks to this, gives a solid and rigid structure.
- It helps to strengthen tendons and ligaments (tissues that join muscles and bones). It is associated with glucosamine (another protein) in compact structures with a certain elasticity.
- In regard to cartilages (soft and resistant tissue that exists in the joints), it is assembled with chondroitin and with glucosamine again. In order to create a high molecular concentration mass, capable of absorbing impacts.
- The cornea (transparent structure located in front of the eye) allows the passage of light as a result of the distribution of collagen in a very fine net.
